Upsetting (Forming)

Multi-stage die upsetting is our core competence. We use various state-of-the-art machines to swage to customer-specific dimensions.

Milling & Rolling

Thread milling uses two flat jaws to produce the thread. One rolling jaw is fixed, while the other is moved by a crank mechanism back and forth.

Levelling & Cutting

Straightening and cutting is usually a preliminary stage for further work processes. At PRINZ we achieve a high straightness of our products through winged levellers. The workpieces are cut directly from the ring.

Flattening & Punching

Our own pressing plant is fully equipped. We have a wide range of hydraulic, eccentric and toggle presses. Blanks can be formed with pressing forces of up to 8,000 kN.

Toolmaking

We design and manufacture complex tools for the demanding forming processes of your products. Due to the close link between the technical project drawing and the production staff, there is a strong foundation for process-reliable and economical production of products.

Care and Quality

Our care and quality in the implementation of customer orders have brought us an excellent reputation as a problem solver for connecting elements. Every day we work to further optimise and improve the process chains - above all in the automated production of large series products.

In close cooperation with machine manufacturers and plant manufacturers, our technology continues to develop for improved manufacturing processes.

With strict selection of materials and precise selection of suppliers, our purchasing department and quality assurance ensure that PRINZ's absolute quality standards are maintained across all products.

In addition, the products undergo an automated mechanical 100% inspection before delivery, to ensure they meet customer requirements. An elaborate combination of high-performance measuring devices and testing machines are used for this purpose. Every part can be checked here using eddy current, camera and/or laser. Sealing surfaces, deflection points, internal and external threads, markings, internal and external drives as well as the lengths and special geometrical features such as chamfers and crests can be examined.
